Savvy Co – a new standard of coffee culture & community in Grey County

I wrote this profile for Rrampt on Caitlin Holmes, founder of Savvy Co., a coffee shop and bodega that started almost by accident in Flesherton during the pandemic and has since expanded to a second location in Meaford. Holmes had no food and beverage background — she was a full-time teacher — but built something that's become as much a community hub as a coffee shop, hosting markets, trivia nights, and vinyl nights alongside serving wine and espresso.

The piece traces how a casual idea for an empty building turned into a growing small business, and what Holmes has learned about staying true to a brand's identity while expanding it.
