You should come to Meaford

I wrote this destination feature for Rrampt on the Municipality of Meaford, a small Georgian Bay town that's long played second fiddle to neighbours like Collingwood and Thornbury but is now seeing real momentum of its own.

I spoke with the mayor, local councillors, and a handful of entrepreneurs who chose to build their businesses there, to understand what's driving the growth, what makes the community distinct, and how the town is trying to develop thoughtfully without losing what made people fall in love with it in the first place. It blends destination writing with local business profiles and a bit of municipal-development reporting.
